South African Soulfulness with Amajobjob
Amajobjob facilitates the creation of products, value chains, relationships, business workshops and community engagement opportunities.
Amajobjob shouts out "South African Soulfulness". This social conscious message is portrayed through the creative and recycled products, which act as 'disciples', bringing hope in a country which has forgotten. What is soulfulness? Humans crave to fill their lives with good experiences and feelings.
Soulfulness is not just a describing word to explain an aspect of the soul, but it is a unique experience and feeling that every human being is searching for. Whether it be within themselves, within people around them or within their surroundings. People are yearning for this experience and this feeling to become a part of them, if only they knew how to grasp it. Soulfulness isn't an understanding of mere knowledge, but it is a multi-sensory experience that takes place in accordance with every sense, every emotion and every feeling of any individual. This world is crying out for that exact feeling of soulfulness that the African people have in their DNA. Amajobjob commissions modern young designers to portray "what is good with our world". A comparison: Human potential is priceless. Our
planet is priceless. The renewing potential in 'wasted humans' is the same, as that of 'wasted materials'. We believe that disempowered people can be renewed and that they too have the potential to be empowered until they can shift boundaries, which will lead to their greatness. 'Waste' can be converted into re-empowered products, conversation pieces that liven up people's homes and offices! Even though the South African Soulfulness is boldly expressed through our products, it seeps through the veins of every aspect of what Amajobjob is about.Branding is the essence that gets our message out there. We communicate to all South Africans that change happens when one engages oneself in 'purposeful doing'.
Everyone is able to be a part of this! Our products are made with substance rather than the fast inflowing of cheap Asian mass production.
Please do visit us at our creative centre (it has safe parking) at the Museum Park in Pretoria CBD.
We are part of the tourist route, between the two major museums on the corner of Bosman and Minnaar Street.
