This boutique is not your average textile craft shop; packed full of wholesome, hand-made creations, Stella Craft epitomises everything good about the growing craft industry in Cape Town. Every little nook presents a little bit of magic for me, colours, textures and design entice your senses and it is here that I first fell in love with felt craft.

Introducing Amajobjob - South African Soulfulness!

I found them completely by accident when surfing through the internet and I am so glad I did! Amajobjob shouts out "South African Soulfulness".

This innovative company is an NGO and addresses poverty and skills development in South Africa face-on, through creating opportunities for previously disadvantaged people who live at the bottom of the economic pyramid.

Well, I have been wondering how I could start my blog off with a bang and guess what? I found something, or rather, some things, that really inspired me. I had not intended to shamelessly promote a business through my blog, however, Art at Work is a little bit special. Their products are simply gorgeous. They are also well made, Proudly South African and fairly priced, but it goes much deeper than that.
